Acceptance of These Terms
By accessing, browsing, or using the Site, you acknowledge that your use of the Site is subject to these Terms of Use and that information collected through the Site will be handled as described in this Privacy Policy.
When you take an affirmative action through the Site, including submitting a contact form, requesting information, contacting HB+, downloading materials where applicable, or using an interactive feature, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and acknowledge the privacy practices described in this Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please discontinue use of the Site and do not submit information through its forms or interactive features.
Use of the Site or submission of an inquiry does not create a consulting, advisory, confidential, fiduciary, attorney-client, or other professional relationship with HB+.
PART I: TERMS OF USE
1. About HB+
HB+ Advisory, Management & Research Services provides strategic advisory, research, management, operational, organizational, public affairs, economic development, technology governance, compliance, procurement, and related consulting services.
HelloBritney.info also serves as a platform for published writing, original research, professional commentary, educational materials, and information about HB+ services and experience.
Information describing HB+, Britney Porter, past experience, projects, research, methodologies, capabilities, or potential services is provided for general informational and business development purposes. It does not, by itself, constitute an offer, guarantee, representation of future results, or contractual commitment.
2. No Professional Relationship Created Through This Site
Visiting this Site, reviewing or downloading materials, submitting a contact form, sending an email, requesting information, or otherwise communicating with HB+ through the Site does not create a consulting, advisory, fiduciary, agency, employment, partnership, attorney-client, or other professional relationship.
A professional engagement with HB+ is established only through a separate written agreement accepted by HB+ and the client, such as an engagement letter, proposal, Master Services Agreement, Statement of Work, or other written contract.
If there is a conflict between these Terms and a signed client agreement, the signed client agreement will control with respect to that engagement.
3. Not a Law Firm or Legal Representation
HB+ Advisory, Management & Research Services is not a law firm. Britney Porter is not holding herself out through this Site as an attorney or as providing legal representation.
HB+ may provide strategic analysis, research, compliance support, governance frameworks, regulatory research, policy analysis, implementation support, technology governance strategy, procurement support, operational frameworks, and coordination with a client's professional advisers.
These services are not a substitute for individualized legal advice from a licensed attorney.
Nothing on this Site constitutes legal advice, creates an attorney-client relationship, or should be relied upon as a legal opinion concerning a specific matter.
When a matter requires legal advice, legal representation, or another regulated professional service, users and clients should consult an appropriately licensed professional.
HB+ may work alongside or coordinate with a client's attorneys, accountants, financial professionals, technology professionals, or other advisers when appropriate.
4. Informational and Educational Content
Research, articles, commentary, reports, presentations, frameworks, checklists, publications, interviews, and other content available through or linked from the website are provided for general informational, research, educational, and discussion purposes.
Content may address business, economics, public policy, emerging technology, artificial intelligence, governance, regulation, compliance, operations, finance, political affairs, economic development, and other evolving subjects.
Unless expressly stated otherwise in a separate professional agreement, Site content should not be interpreted as individualized:
-
legal advice;
-
tax or accounting advice;
-
investment or financial advice;
-
lobbying or campaign law advice;
-
cybersecurity advice;
-
employment advice; or
-
other regulated professional advice.
Laws, regulations, technology, economic conditions, industry practices, and other circumstances may change after material is published. HB+ does not guarantee that every article, research paper, resource, or archived page reflects the most current information available.
5. No Guarantee of Results
HB+ does not guarantee specific business, financial, political, operational, regulatory, technology, procurement, economic development, funding, investment, employment, contracting, or other outcomes.
References to past projects, initiative size, economic impact, audiences reached, project values, organizational outcomes, media visibility, or other professional experience describe historical experience or the broader scale of projects in which Britney Porter has participated.
These references should not be interpreted as promises or guarantees that any future engagement will produce the same or similar results.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, figures relating to projects or initiatives may represent the overall size, value, scope, or reach of an initiative. They should not be interpreted as amounts personally controlled, generated, received, or owned by HB+ or Britney Porter.
6. Project and Client Information
The Site may describe selected projects, professional engagements, partnerships, institutions, public initiatives, media work, research, or other professional experience.
Descriptions may be abbreviated for readability, confidentiality, contractual obligations, or professional considerations.
Mention of an organization, government entity, institution, company, publication, university, campaign, project, client, partner, or other third party does not necessarily indicate an ongoing relationship, endorsement, sponsorship, partnership, or affiliation unless specifically stated.
Third-party names, trademarks, and logos remain the property of their respective owners.
7. Contact Forms and Unsolicited Information
Please do not submit confidential, privileged, proprietary, classified, highly sensitive, or legally protected information through the Site's general contact form unless HB+ has specifically requested it through an appropriate secure process.
Submitting information through a website inquiry does not create a confidential or professional relationship.
If HB+ later enters into a written professional engagement with you, confidentiality obligations applicable to that engagement will be governed by the relevant written agreement.
8. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise indicated, original content on this website, including text, research summaries, frameworks, graphics, branding, reports, presentations, methodologies, page designs, downloadable materials, and other original materials, is owned by Britney Porter and/or HB+ and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may view and use publicly available website materials for personal, internal, noncommercial, and informational purposes.
Without prior written permission, you may not:
-
reproduce or republish substantial portions of Site content;
-
sell or commercially redistribute Site materials;
-
remove copyright or attribution notices;
-
falsely represent HB+ materials as your own;
-
use HB+ branding in a manner that suggests endorsement or affiliation;
-
systematically scrape or harvest Site content; or
-
use protected materials to create a competing commercial product or service where prohibited by applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights independently provided under applicable law, including lawful fair use.
9. Research and Publications
Research papers, articles, white papers, academic work, commentary, and publications linked through HelloBritney.info may also be hosted by third-party publishers, academic repositories, news organizations, research platforms, or other services.
Use of materials hosted by those organizations may also be governed by their respective terms, policies, and copyright requirements.
10. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Site in a manner that:
-

-
interferes with Site security or operation;
-
introduces malware or harmful code;

11. Third-Party Links and Services
The Site may contain links to external websites, publications, research repositories, social networks, government resources, software providers, media outlets, or other third-party services.
These links are provided for convenience or reference.
HB+ does not control third-party websites and is not responsible for their availability, security, accuracy, privacy practices, content, or terms.
A link does not necessarily constitute endorsement of the linked organization, its products, its services, or its positions.
12. Site Availability and Accuracy
HB+ makes reasonable efforts to maintain useful and accurate information but does not warrant that the Site will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, complete, or current.
Site content may be updated, corrected, removed, or changed without notice.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Site and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
HB+ does not warrant that use of the Site will produce any particular outcome or that all information will be free from errors, omissions, interruptions, or third-party interference.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, HB+, Britney Porter, and persons acting on their behalf will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising solely from access to, reliance upon, or inability to use this Site or its general informational content.
Users remain responsible for evaluating information before making business, legal, financial, operational, technology, policy, or other decisions.
This limitation does not exclude liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded under applicable law.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where another law must apply.
Subject to rights that cannot legally be waived, disputes concerning use of this Site will be handled by an appropriate court having jurisdiction in California.
Nothing in these Terms eliminates any consumer or statutory right that cannot lawfully be waived.
16. Changes to These Terms
HB+ may revise these Terms periodically to reflect changes to the Site, services, business operations, technology, or applicable requirements.
The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will indicate when material revisions were most recently made.
Continued use of the Site after revised Terms become effective constitutes use of the Site subject to the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

27. Information Security
